How does the Design Process work?
To create a timeless chic interior, whether it is one room, a whole house, a hotel, or office,
Petra is experienced and qualified to help at the highest level-domestic and contract-from the
beginning to the end of the project. The interior should reflect your individuality, and will be
tailor made for you. Petra hopes to surprise you and inspire you with design solutions, and
guide you through the process, from the start to the final styling
Step 1: meet & discuss
Make an appointment with Petra Postmus to discuss your project. In this free of charge one hour consultation we discuss your wishes for the project, your style, reguirements and timescale. At this first appointment she hopes to inspire you, and explore the possibilities of designing and creating your space.

Step 2: concept & design
After the final brief, and approval about the costs of the design services (tailor made proposal), it is time to get started with the concept phase. In this stage Petra will provide concepts, like moodboards and colour suggestions, and will try to capture ’the look & feel’ of the design. And she will provide design sketches, and suggest materials, furniture and decorations in the look & feel of the final concept.
Step 3 : delivery & final styling
After approval of the Concept & Design plans, the realization of the project can start. She will guide you in this process of the renovations, and will do suggestions for materials, like flooring, paint colours, wallpaper, window dressing, and furniture, lightning and decorations. She works with trusted suppliers of high end materials & furniture, and decorations. And find her way to antique markets, and other addresses to create a beautiful interior. After selecting and buying the materials & furniture , and the renovations, Petra will furnish and decorate the place and takes care of the last details, and voila… you can enjoy your lovely new space.
